I think we need another plate.....

The wedding shower is Saturday! AND Kaleb had surgery on his nose! AND there are only 9 days of school left! AND my hair trial is on Sunday! We really don't have enough going on.

Most importantly Kaleb's surgery went well. He is relaxing and healing up. Hopefully he will be back to smelling the roses very soon!

Its been bittersweet coming to the end of the school year. I very much love my students and family at Highland. They are really the best but I am excited for our new adventure.

It is almost one month until the wedding day! Holy moly!!!!!!! We had a very long meeting discussing every single detail. I am so excited to see everything come together! Fingers crossed no hiccups! It is really going to be a beautiful day.  Here is a preview of where I will become Mrs. Grund!

Bump in the Road

Well needless to say it has been a busy weekend! Saturday I spent the morning holding my final cake meeting. Believe me, the cake is going to taste amazing. I am currently drooling (maybe because of the pre-wedding diet) at the thought of getting to have some. Then I had my first dress fitting. It was so fun to be in it and I am just so beyond excited for the day!!  However the amazing day was quickly ruined by some not-so-lovely person who decided to hit my car and then take off without leaving a note. Boo to that.

All of the wedding plans are coming together so perfectly! I am so excited to get to marry such an amazing man!

Hello!

Welcome to the new blog! I am starting a bit early this time because I thought I would include a bit of our engagement and wedding planning as it is part of the adventure we have started together. The last adventure Rylie and I went on was to Scammon Bay, Alaska. This time we thought it just wasn't cold enough or enough of an adventure so we went further North. Like a lot further North. We will be in Barrow, Alaska. There is no way to go any more North then there. We will literally be at the top of the United States. Negative temperatures, polar bears and the ever gorgeous Aurora Borealis.
Fortunately for Rylie and I, we won't be going at it alone this time! Here I introduce to you my better half, Kaleb. He has been such a blessing and I couldn't imagine a better person to not only adventure with but spend the rest of my life with. Hopefully I can convince him to post on here occasionally but for the most part I will be the narrator.

Alright I am going to take a quick moment to laugh at the title of this blog. As we all know I can't get enough of a great adventure and my fiance's last name is Grund so I thought this would be our Grund Adventure...get it? get it? Okay I know a little cheese ball but I was still proud of it.

I'll be posting at least once or twice a week until we start the trip and then you will be hearing from me a whole lot more often! I am looking forward to sharing with you!
